June 2025: National PTSD Awareness Month – Breaking the Silence, Building Support
June marks National PTSD Awareness Month, a time to increase public understanding of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and the profound impact it has on the lives of millions. At Vanguard Research Group, we stand in solidarity with individuals affected by PTSD and remain dedicated to advancing research that leads to better diagnosis, treatment, and long-term support.
PTSD can develop after exposure to a traumatic event—such as combat, natural disasters, serious accidents, or personal assault—and it doesn’t discriminate. Veterans, first responders, survivors of violence, and people from all walks of life may carry the invisible wounds of trauma. Left untreated, PTSD can interfere with relationships, employment, physical health, and overall quality of life. Yet, despite its prevalence, stigma and misunderstanding still prevent many from seeking the help they need.
Our mission at Vanguard Research Group is to bridge the gap between mental health research and real-world treatment. Through clinical trials and evidence-based studies, we are exploring innovative therapies, medication options, and care models that offer hope for people living with PTSD. We believe that every step forward in research brings us closer to personalized, effective solutions that truly make a difference.
This month, we encourage everyone to take action—whether it’s learning about PTSD, supporting a loved one, advocating for mental health resources, or participating in research. Awareness is the first step toward healing. By breaking the silence and creating space for empathy, understanding, and science-driven care, we can improve outcomes and empower recovery for those affected by trauma.
Let June 2025 be a reminder: healing is possible, and no one has to face PTSD alone.
