World Bipolar Day 2023
World Bipolar Day is observed each year on March 30th, on the birthday of Dutch painter, Vincent van Gogh. Vincent van Gogh is one of the most influential artists in the history of Western Art, who was diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
Bipolar disorder dramatically affects the mood and may result in episodes of depression and elation. This can affect one’s health, productivity, and relationships with others. It is important to help educate and bring awareness to bipolar disorder. Not only that, but we need to end the social stigma and show our support to those who suffer from this condition. We can do this by providing resources and support to those who need it, and by encouraging people to talk openly about their mental health. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those affected by bipolar disorder.
