Vanguard Research Group Leadership
Vivianne joined the Vanguard Research Group in 2014. Prior to that, she worked for 2 years at a small CRO, which specialized in managing Infectious Disease studies. However, her main clinical research experience was obtained during 11 years at Pfizer. Vivianne’s role covers a wide range of responsibilities to ensure that trials are conducted under good clinical practice. While she liked working in the lab during the early part of her career, she “wanted to witness a more direct impact of medicinal research on patients, so she moved into the clinical trial space”. In addition, working for VRG, has exposed her to a new therapeutic area, that permits a better understanding of those suffering from serious mental illness.
Vivianne particularly appreciates that the size of the company allows her to wear several different hats.
Vivianne received her degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Edinburgh, but has lived in the U.S. in the many years since. When not busying herself with work related matters, she likes to get outside in an effort to improve her limited golf skills. She also exercises considerable restraint in not collecting a whole clowder of cats!
