Franchesica Bassaw joined the Vanguard Research Group team as Senior Clinical Research Program Manager in 2023. Having been employed with Northwell Health since 2018, Franchesica has worked in psychiatry research for 5 years. Starting out as an Assistant Research Coordinator at the Zucker Hillside Hospital psychiatric neurocenters, Franchesica would later move on to become a Clinical Research Coordinator in 2021
In her role there, she was responsible for the coordination and monitoring of 5 studies, both cross-sectional and longitudinal. In this capacity, Franchesica was responsible for not only data collection, analysis and monitoring, but also conducting several clinical ratings. In addition to her position here at Vanguard, Franchesica also holds a LMSW Masters’ degree which she pursued while at Northwell at Fordham University. As a social worker, Franchesica sees patients for clinical therapy and is an advocate for mental health and wellness. When she is not working, Franchesica loves traveling and seeking out her next adventure, including skydiving.
