Remembering September 11th

Remembering September 11th:

Honoring Resilience in 2025

As we mark the anniversary of September 11, 2001, we pause to reflect on a day that forever changed our nation. Even twenty-four years later, the images, stories, and emotions from that day remain deeply etched into our collective memory. At the Vanguard Research Group, we honor the lives lost, the families impacted, and the countless first responders and community members whose courage continues to inspire us.

9/11 was not only a moment of profound loss—it was also the beginning of an ongoing journey of resilience and healing. The psychological impact of that day has touched survivors, families, first responders, and communities across the country. Many continue to live with the invisible wounds of trauma, reminding us of the importance of accessible mental health care and long-term support.

Our work at Vanguard Research Group reflects this commitment. Through behavioral health research and clinical trials, we strive to improve treatment options for trauma-related conditions such as PTSD, depression, and anxiety. In doing so, we aim to bring healing and hope to those whose lives are still shaped by the events of that day and by other traumatic experiences.
This September 11th, let us not only remember the past, but also look forward with a shared responsibility to care for one another. By strengthening mental health awareness, reducing stigma, and advancing research, we can honor the legacy of resilience that emerged from tragedy.
We will never forget.
