Ruba Mahboub

Ruba Mahboub has been a Senior Clinical Research Program Manager at the Vanguard Research Group since 2025 and has worked in clinical research since 2022. She brings over three years of experience supporting interventional and observational clinical trials.

Ruba is passionate about her work because it has shown her how meaningful it is to work within the healthcare system and directly contribute to improving patients’ lives. She believes clinical research is the first step in advancing medicine and takes pride in ensuring research is conducted with the highest quality and integrity to support better health outcomes. She is personally committed to continuous learning and self improvement, guided by the belief that there is always more to learn and no level of knowledge is ever enough.

Prior to joining Vanguard, Ruba worked as a Clinical Research Associate and Clinical Trial Assistant at DataClin CRO. She earned her Bachelor of Pharmacy from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt, graduating with Excellent with Honors.

In her free time, Ruba enjoys hiking, going to the gym, cooking Egyptian food, and traveling the world with her family.
